A picture is worth a thousand words. But not if the story behind it is lost. This session offers actionable tips for taming your photo collection and keepsakes while preserving the memories and stories that matter most to you and your family. Join this engaging talk on preparing for the next chapter: navigating a
move from a longtime home, and the psychology behind downsizing and letting go--all while safeguarding family history. Come with curiosity and questions, leave with confidence for next steps.
Lynn Schnaiberg is a veteran, award-winning journalist who helps families preserve the stories they don't want to lose. A member of Personal Historians Northwest, Lynn captures life stories, creates books and oral histories, and curates seniors' legacy letters for future generations. www.lynnschnaiberg.com
Lynda Pack Dowell, Senior Home Coach™ and real estate transition specialist who guides seniors and their families navigate the emotional and logistical process of selling a longtime family home. Her passion for this work stems from her own experience assisting family members with downsizing and relocating.
Rebecca Crichton, Executive Director of Northwest Center for Creative Aging (NWCCA), brings wisdom and purpose to her work with the aging community. She retired from a 21-year career at Boeing as a writer, curriculum designer, and leadership development coach. Her Encore Career uses her knowledge
and experience to offer programs and resources related to Creative Aging in the Seattle area. NWCCA collaborates monthly with Town Hall Seattle. She facilitates Wisdom Cafes for the King County Library System and writes a regular column for 3rd Act Magazine.
