Building a support system isn't just about having people to call in a crisis; it’s about intentionally weaving a web of security, advocacy, and shared resources. Join Denise Malm, Social Worker and Geriatric Mental Health specialist to learn about how Personal Safety Nets (PSN) offers ideas and practices to counteract the increasing ‘epidemic’ of loneliness and isolation in our society. The evolution of this concept, developed in 2007 by Judy Pigott and Dr. John Gibson, offers creative ways to develop supportive and meaningful relationships. Learn how the new PSN can increase connections, and improve health and well-being as we age.
